Hey guys, straight to the point. I have a White pearl paint job on my TSX and have chip on edges, vertical surfaces, and the bumper. I don't care about the paint matching as much as I do protecting the metal from rust. The car is going to sit outside all day at college.
I've done one paint chip repair before on a hood. Nothing like these surfaces.
How would you approach these?

Here they are

These are on the rear bumper. One shows bits of primer, both have the plastic showing

Well first off ill make sure the area is clean even the chip area then place tape around(incase run off) then I would lighly brush three to four coats of base/body color(you may want to run 3000 grit sandpaper over each coat once after it had dryed so it bond better) then I would apply three or four coats of clear doing the sanding method mentioned before then if the repair is higher lighly sand till leveled and buff sand marks away

Absolutely no reason to sand between coats of touch-up paint

Sanding after 15 minutes will lead to poor results

Most do not apply CC to chip repairs

Larry Kosilla has a decent Youtube video that would be worth watching

I actually have seen it and forgot all about it until I just read your post! Definitely will rewatch.
My main concern with my chips is where they're located. Like the one right inside the door on these vertical edges. I've been using Google and searching AG for about a week and can't find information about applying to these difficult, vertical edges.

Clean the chipped area really well with some IPA and apply some touch-up paint using a fine tipped artist paint brush and move on...

I used the Dr. Color Chip system yesterday on an Azure blue Mustang and in my opinion it worked great.

Quick, simple effective.
