Paint chips on rims-- repair

Can anyone suggest to me a repair for these little chips on my rims so they don't get any bigger?

I have a little bottle of Testor's enamel that happens to be an exact color match. No good? Any advise would be appreciated.

Had this happen when tire installer chipped rim.
I went to local auto store. Got Duplicolor (Silver) rim paint. Sanded spot lighty, gray primed.
Tested spray on cardboard. Then sprayed rim area. Turned out OK. Left it alone and moved on.
