This weekend I headed up to Northern VA to meet up with Jake (JSou) at Blockstars LLS BlockStarCars to help correct a black Lexus LS460 for an upcoming car show called Springfest. All in all we had a fantastic time detailing and tackling this car. We went full beast mode on it.

Products used:
CG Honeydew Snowfoam
Fine grade clay
Tufshine wheel and tire cleaner
Wheel woolies
Mothers Professional Rubbing Compound
Mothers Professional Polish
Wolfgang Uber Compound 3.0
Meguiars D300
HD Speed
Griots DA
Rupes 21ES
Buff and Shine pads, both microfiber and green polishing
Meguiars mf cutting pads

LSP was Pinnacle SSII wax that provided a super deep, rich, inky black finish that was INCREDIBLE. This wax is a must have!

Here is the vehicle

Doing a test spot with Mothers Polish and a MF Finishing pad. Notice how there is some haziness. This would be corrected with HD Speed and a green pad

Car was pretty trashed before as you can see in the pics. I want to thank JSou for allowing me to be apart of this. I had a great time and created a strong friendship.

Great job guys!!! You would never know how trashed the paint used to be by looking at the after pics. You guys killed it! :xyxthumbs:

Here are some of the other cell phone pics taken during the detail.

Hazy after initial test spot with (I forgot what product). We knew how hard (soft) the paint was at that point.

Those wax properties look great. I have a can of that SSII, hopefully this weekend I'll be able to use it for the first time!
