Paint Overspray

Well, my friend's 2012 Buick Enclave somehow managed to get paint overspray on it. It almost covers the entire rear of the vehicle including the pain, bumper trim and glass.

I was able to remove the paint on the bumper using nail polish but didn't try it on the glass or windows.

What would you recommend to remove paint spray on the glass and paint? This looks like a three hour job. Any idea how much to charge for this? I was going to call several body shops to see how much they charge.

Anything that was chemically safe for the bumper is going to be fine on the glass. You can also use a plastic razorblade on the glass, or even a steel razor blade, if you're careful.

However the normal method used by folks here is clay, the red overspray clay if it's really bad. You can of course use the Elastrofoam block or that SpeedyPrep towel Speedy Surface Prep Towel, speedy prep towel, clay bar replacement, detailing clay

I think we can all agree a great looking finish is a glossy looking finish and gloss comes from smoothness. An important step to creating a glossy, show car finish is to inspect the paint for above surface bonded contaminants and if discovered remove them using detailing clay.
