Hello all: I am sorry if I am posting in the wrong forum, but I am new here. Just purchased a 2009 Mercedes SL65, and am cosidering having a clear bra type product installed. Specifically I have gotten a quote of $4900 for XPEL (premium film) installation in San Antonio including every painted surface of the car including bumpers doors, complete hood, complete trunk surface fenders etc. Is this a reasonable price?

To save money, I am considering just the complete front half of the car (once again all painted surfaces) which is $2300.

I live in Corpus Christi, but the XPEL dealer in San Antonio is very experienced and I am told experience is very important in getting a good application.

The other product which I am cosidering is Avery Denisson Nanofusion film which has a lifetime warranty. I do not know if it can be removed easily as XPEL can. Any input on this film?
Thanks

seems a bit high in price compared to here in oregon but there are many variables. a really top notch installer is worth extra. have an e 63 with 3 m on it and it cost $895 for the front, door edges, side mirrors, tail end. your car isnt physically hugh and using large amount of product. i would simply ask around and get a few more bids. being a mercedes nut i love your chose of wheels. just got my wife a sl 500 and am waxing it weekly cause it is just some damn fun and small to do. 5 coats of raceglaze black label makes it look tight.

I hope I'm not replying to this post out of this forum's proper decorum, but....

I have the "ExPel" premium film installed on my vehicle's front clip, the entire hood, rockers, and lower fender panels ( See attachment below). I went to "ExPel's" website and purchased their pre-cut patterns, along with their install kit, and they fit like a glove. You'll also find the listing of their certified installers on their website. In fact one of this forum's members from Texas is one of them.

Ease of removal: I have removed several of the pieces at various times to clean up some tar around them, and re-installed the same pieces---piece of cake! Note: Before installation I used my PC and polished the areas to be covered. If you have any questions please PM me.
