Hello everyone!

I don't know what happened exactly but my whole front end is covered in paint!

I tried removing it with a plastic razor blade and it works but i wanted you ask you guys if there is a way of speeding things up ? Is there a product i can use to soften the paint?

I will be polishing the car after

Thank you so much!

Would you mind posting some pictures? Is it an overspray type situation or does it look like someone dumped a paint bucket on the front of it?

Don't have a picture with me but is not spray paint. Looks as if i was following a truck with a can open in the bed !

Use lacquer thinner make sure car wasn't painted it has to be factory painted

Would be ezer of you knew what kind of paint it was. Latex is very ez to get off. Before I would us any chemical route. Try a heat gun or a hair dryer to heat up the paint an carefully peel it away or use a plastic razor blade to carefully scrap it off. How ever you take the paint off it would be a good idea to do a quick polish an wax afterwords. Hope this helps

Is lacquer thinner the same as paint thinner

Pretty sure is latex! Like i said i tried a plastic razor blade and it worked but im just trying to find a way of speeding things up.

Yeah ill be polishing and protecting the paint afterwards !

There is a product called GOOF OFF I have never tried it on a car before .But it will eat latex paint and it's not as strong as lacquer thinner. Hope that this will help. Good luck with it.

I have goof off ! I will give that a try thanks !

If it's latex then try this..

Soak a towel in hot water then press it against the paint splatter. A warm wet towel will soften the latex paint making it pretty easy to remove. You might have to do this a couple of times to get it to soften to the point where it's removable but it's worked for me.

A pressure washer will also be a great tool to use...

Thanks for the advice! Ill most likely work on the car this weekend so keep your comments coming !

Thanks to everyone!

No lacquer thinner is different than paint thinner it will work to remove paint on car as long the car wasn't paint I use this all the time on all exotic cars test a small panel first
