Paint Thickness Gauge Quality vs Cheap Ebay

Would like to learn something new today about the differences in PTG's, would like to know what's the difference from the more expensive ones to the cheap $80 China ones. Right now I got a HighLine Meter II I paid $250.00 for but was going to buy a cheap one to make a video to run test up against the cheapest one "Quality" ones from china that everyone is buying I believe there CMF brands? Anyway post ur knowledge and post what you have yourself.

I've had the Highline II since 2009, which I consider to be a cheap PTG. Up until a few months ago it has read accurately and consistently, for for $225 and 8 years of use I feel it was pretty good.

I tried this different "cheaper" one to replace it after seeing some other recommend it and I'd say okay and has more features, but I felt the Highline was more accurate and consistent.
