Painted Wheel Problems

I must have at one time used the wrong type of cleaner on my wheels. I have a f350 with factory painted wheels. They look as if the cleaner stripped some of the finish coating off and made streaks. Any suggestions on fixing this. Will follow with photos shortly.

One of the polishes for coated wheels might be worth a try. I think Wenol Blue is one. I haven't tried it. I came on to say that worst case senario AG now has a kit to refinish your own wheels. Looking forward to your pics.

just use a quick spray detail to clean your wheels... or P21s wheel gel, expensive but harmless

try a paint polish and see if that will brighten them up, as painted wheels can be treated just the same !

Have you been using wheel cleaners with strong acids or caustics?
