Painter's Tape with WG Products!

Do I need to use blue painter's tape when using wolfgang's paintwork polish enhancer on a white ccs polishing pad to cover up moldings, headlights, trim etc.? Will the WG "stain" ?

Its not really the polish you have to worry about, more so the abrasive action of the polish and pad on the PC/Rotary, it can mar/burn trim. The painters tape protects it.

I try to mask everything off with green painters tape (dont think color matters). Protects against burns and makes things a million times easier to clean up.
