Parking Lots?...How to go about doing this?

Hey AG'ers
In the process of trying to acquire more business (but then again when am I not).
I see a bunch of self-employed business setting up in our local mall parking lot and I've also seen some set-up in plaza areas where there are many businesses.
I'm wondering how do I go about doing this?

Do I just go there and set-up?
Do I need to contact the City of Vancouver to see if I need permission?

Have any of you tried this?

Just to clear things up I will only be using the Garry Dean Method for washing.

Ya I would first ask the city and then find out who is the leasing company for the shopping center. They will have to approve you being on there property.

Ok, yeah I wasn't quite sure who to ask since there are a lot different businesses in the lots I'm looking to do demos in. Has to be owned by someone, so I'll definitely look into it that way.
