So one of my clients who owns a black 2006 Subaru Sti is planning on getting a full paint correction done by me here in spring but he recently aquired a scratch/scuff that he didnt want to wait to have removed. The imperfection on the car was a bit large but not too deep. As some of us know Subaru's are known for having "sticky" or "soft" paint and it usually is harder to work with. I also taped off the area being corrected to show the client the huge difference between corrected/not corrected. This was my first time getting to use the SIP on a black car so I was very excited to see the results. The SIP left a slight haze so a finishing polish was required which is expected on dark colors. Heres a couple pics I took with my crappy camera but you get the idea.
