I'm confused on when I can apply the pbl goad coating. the bottle says to first use pinnacle glass work water spot remover and the pbl handbook says to use the pbl cleansing lotion.do I need to use the lotion after I use the water spot remover our can I put the coating on after polishing with the water spot remover? Thanks in advance

I used a Duragloss glass polish, then wiped down with IPA.
It just needs a clean surface with no residues to properly bond to the glass.

IPA will work. DP Coating Prep Polish can also be used.

The directions assume that your windshield is as dirty and contaminated like most people's, so we err on the side of caution and recommend using an abrasive glass polish first (GlassWork Water Spot Remover). If you're positive that you don't have any water spots or a heavy film on the glass, Surface Cleansing Polish is perfect. You don't need to use them in conjunction with each other. :dblthumb2:

Nick, thanks, I'm not the OP, but, that's good information. I think I'll go the extra mile and do the water spot remover anyway....... never hurts to be safe........
