Hi, I am about to order a PC buffer and LC pads and was wondering if someone could share an approach to get rid of minor swirl marks on a new porsche boxster 2007. Guards red with some minor swirls. Should I use a PC or should I try by hand first? I am a novice.

Thanks

Def get the PC with LC pads. For polish I recommend Pinnacle XMT's, Poorboys SSR's, or Menzerna.

If you have light swirls, then I recommend XMT #2, 3, or 360, Poorboys SSR1, or Menzerna 106FF. Your clear coat is medium toughness. So imperfections will be relatively easy to remove via PC, but aggressive polishes will leave marring. Such as XMT #2, youll probably have to go over it with XMT 1. PB SSR1 should finish fine along with Menz. 106FF.

Got pics? I suggest you order XMT 360, will remove the defects without any marring, and it will also seal it. :)

I tell everyone I had great luck with the Poorboys PC kit. Comes with everything you need, from the DA to pads to polishes to MFs. It's very easy to use and you will see some great results.

On the other hand, the best polishes out there currently probably is Menzerna.
