Hello,
I have the 3 part Wolfgang stuff on the way. I have a Volvo XC70 wagon, silver and a couple years old, that is new to me. I want to work out some flaws and make it mine with a good detail, as is my style.
I've had a PC buffer for some time and I've worked with a number of products. Thinking about what I'm going to do with the Volvo, though, has given me pause. Running along the entire length of the car is a curve that makes the vertical sheet metal horizontal for a couple inches before it meets the window. This line, this shoulder as I call it, runs the entire length of the car. And it's on this shoulder around the doors and on the hood where I need to do some work. Are you with me on this?
I've started to think about moving the buffer around that line, over that shoulder, and it seems to me the potential to over buff, to not keep the work even and to create a problem, is huge. So I'm soliciting advice about that. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
