Cool cars you work on. Is that a Chevrolet Bel Air 1955 yellow one? My nephew that turning 3 years old is crazy in the yellow color for some reason LOL. So that would be a great car for me to get LOL.
Is the pinstripe clearcoated? If not, how do you do on that correction wise?

I think they call this model a 210 - it's a 2-door POST hardtop. If you look at the side windows, there's a steel section that runs between the roof and the body, that's the "post". A 2-door hard top would not have the post.
The Bel Air models are 2-door hard tops, not 2-door posts. Make sense?

We just finished the car washing portion of the class including,
Wet wash engine detailing
Headlight machine sanding
Glass polishing
Chemical decontamination
Foam guns
Mechanical decontamination
Now we're moving onto the Griot's BOSS System.
Then FLEX and then what I call Free-For-All.
So far, the only sitting time is for lunch and it's only 20 minutes. 5 minutes more to go and the class will be back on their feet and back to hands-on learning.

I took this video Sunday morning, the guys were running polishers before 8:00am. Again.... before 8:00am
My guess is any other class taking place across America or the world... everyone is still sitting in a chair listening to someone talk.

The above was this morning. Since then, the guys have all been hand sanding then machine sanding. They have NOT been watching me hand sand or me machine sand - THEY have been hand sanding and machine sanding.
Next up THEY get to use rotary buffers to remove sanding marks and then we go into Steam Machines and Hot Water Extractors.

rops: So cool. Been there done that & would be back to do it all again in a heart beat. So much to learn, & geeze - if you’re kinda new to detailing & thinking of buying a polisher - no better place to get a real feel for pretty much every tool on the market.

You find stunning cars to work on Mike & not only is it cool to work on these cars it makes it memorable too.rops: I can still vividly see the dash on that beautiful ‘63 Chrysler 300 Sports Coupe we worked on, the swirled up black paint on that ‘63 Pontiac Bonneville . . . I could go on. :buffing:
