Pictures: King Neptune's - Rods in the Pocket Car Show
Nick, Jason and I attended the 2nd Annual King Neptune's - Rods in the Pocket Car Show to help raise money for "Santa's Helpers" for Martin County and the weather was perfect and the cars that turned out were great.
Cars arriving first thing in the morning, these two Camaro's are owned by a husband/wife team...
Throughout the day raffle prizes were drawn,
Autogeek provided 8 of the prizes including 6 Griot's Polishers, a Pinnacle Detailing Kit and an Autogeek Detailing Bag.
One of the winners of one of the Griot's polishers was Ken Evans who also came to Autogeek for the first time last Thursday to helps us with our Extreme Makeover of my buddy Jay's 1999 Trans Am.

Here's some pictures of some of the cars at the show, about half of them had what I would call a "nice finish" and the other half were all in need of some proper machine polishing to remove swirls, stains, scratches, water spots and oxidation...
Upcoming Thursday Night Project Car
Jon, the owner of this 1965 Mustang Fastback painted in Viper Red will be bringing his car to Autogeek in January of 2013 and he and I will be wetsanding the paint with the 3M #5000 Grit Sanding Discs and then compounding and polishing to remove swirls and sanding marks from the first wetsanding work done to the car.

Beautiful old 1941 Ford Convertible
The paint had a lot of stains, swirls and oxidation and could really use a show car makeover to perfect it.

My buddy Carlos owns this sweet old Chevrolet.
Carlos is the same guy that did this after we had him and his 1963 Plymouth Fury on our TV show, "What's in Autogeek's Garage"

Here Carlos is saying something but I'm not sure what as his Plymouth Fury is kind of loud... in hindsight I think he was saying...
"I'll do a burn-out as I leave"
I didn't hear what he said but I heard his tires when they started talking!
I quickly grabbed my trusty, dusty Canon Rebel and snapped a few pictures...
Carlos really laid down some rubber!
And the tire marks are still out front of Autogeek today...
