Just purchased the full kit last week during the sale.

My main question was, can this paint coating be applied to the exterior plastics?

It's not meant for plastics, just painted surfaces. If you want a coating for plastics a good one would be CarPro DLUX Plastic and Wheel Coating.

Well, I guess I need to place an order for dlux LOL.


I hope pinnacle makes a plastic coating soon to add to their awesome lineup.

I've read the directions in this product as well. And nowhere does it state to use on plastic. Am I missing where it states that?

Looking back to some threads when this product came out I found this review from an Autogeek employee. He specifically talks about using it on plastic trim and light covers. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/product-reviews/72898-review-pinnacle-black-label-diamond-surface-coating.html

I sure I've seen Nike and Mike talk about the surface coating being used on every surface, not only paint. I'm sure a little digging will yield those threads as well.

Well, that sucks, kinda funny they would even sell the separate products. Should've just got the surface coating and be done instead of the kit.

Guess I'll just buy Carpro dlux until the kit runs out.
