I was on ebay the other day and did a search for clay. I have been useing the Optimum clay for the last couple of years and stocked up when Optimum stoped selling it in the states. So I saw a someone selling the Pinnacle clay 1lb. for 59.00 I thought this was a good price. I checked the Auto Geek site and bam it was on sale for 49.00
I purchased it in hopes that it would be decent. I must say I used some today and it was
a very nice product and would recomend it to any one who asked.
Thanks for the great product and price

Ron.

Ron thanks for sharing! I miss that Pinnacle yellow clay, I have a little still. Haven't tried the green. May need to take a closer look.

Sparkie, Mothers yellow clay is very similar to Pinnacle yellow clay. It is much better then Megs white clay, and much easier to work with.

I like the green clay a lot. I still have several bars of the yellow clay too which I save for special occasions. :D

You got that right!

trust me ... almost all clay is the same, a little color and a certain patent makes it hard for anyone else to create sum for at least the next few years.

Ive been using Mothers Clay, but Im tired of spending $18- $20 for one 2.2oz bar. I found some medium grade gray clay on ebay for about $9 per 7.0oz (200g) bar. Would this be okay to use?

lets say they are more similar than different, as is the case with most/all clay till the patent expires. Some say the Japanese clay is quite different, see it on Ebay under Soft99 every so often.

I have yellow clay from Griot's Garage that is very pliable and according to their latest catalog that is what they are still selling. Just an FYI.
