12, you must have gone way to thick. Waxes that are heavy in oils like Souveran, Natty's Blue, Max Wax etc, a little goes a long way and easy to apply/remove. Any of those should last at least 25-30 applications.ltoman said:I was VERY hesitant, but on my red vette, I must say heck YES!!!
It won't last you 25 applications tho. More like 12....
SOuveran - woweee
If you have it to squander on your car, that is what to buy.

I always did have a heavy hand. If it is not reasonably well covered, I don't feel like its had enough. To barely cover it seems like that - to barely cover it. I guess I am not finding a happy medium because after 3 uses, my Souveran is getting to be small....Surfer said:12, you must have gone way to thick. Kelso said:you are using the fom applicator it comes in right? just lightly rub the top of the wax jar with it and that should be enough for atleast a panel, probably half of your hood, its usually a thin kinda clear looking film. usually i cant even tell if theres any on the applicator if that helps, you dont need chunks on there or anything lol

When I did Ecklers I showed about a dozen people how to do it correctly. They were amazed at slickness, look, and ease of removal. They all bought the kits ... full price. Using the soap and Crystal Mist will prolong the look and feel.
