Hi guys. I need a wet looking carnauba paste wax. Which the above offers more wetter, glowing with shimmering looks. My car color is silver. But for the Pinnacle Souveran price, I can get 2 tubs of Pinnacle SS II...? That's why do you guys think the Souveran is worth it for my silver color car. Since I have not seen the real results on both paste waxes, so I can't make up my mind. I'm tired of trying out liquid waxes / sealant that just don't look good. They don't have the glowing with shimmer shine that the carnauba offers. Hehe. :p

Since that I read the souveran is for yellow, red & black.... I can't make up my mind if its worth it on silver color....? Silver color is kinda hard to please. Please help me. TQ so much. :o

Below I read this from this thread: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/pinnacle-wax/3440-comparison-pinnacle-waxes-2.html

Pinnacle Souveran Paste --- Blacks, Reds, Yellows --- super wetness, depth, richness

Pinnacle Paste Glaz --- brighter, originally designed for light colors

Sig Series, Sig Series II --- made for lighter cars, offers polymer technology to add some reflection and glow.

Pinnacle Souveran Liquid --- a shimmering beauty, designed for longer durability and use in different environments. Can be allowed to dry/cure completely.

If it's metalic silver I would use Signiture Series if not I would use Liquid Souveran on silver. From my experience Souveran Paste does not look that great on silver. I love Signiture Series on my dark metalic silver car.

get either the signature series or liquid...

:iagree: Keep in mind that it's hard to get silver to look wet just becuase of the properties of the color. But either one will give you a really nice look, I've used the liquid and I'm quite pleased with it.

SIG II or liguid souveran..........I wonder hoe MaxWax would do hmmmm

Signature series 2 was designed for light colored metallics. I used it on our gold SW2 Saturn. Highlights the flakes, whereas Souveran will mute them. The liquid is ideally used on white cars/trucks.
Good luck!

i got very good results with SSII on my white pearl. likewise, the souveran liquid is a 2 coat to SSII. i have yet to try souveran on it though, id rather the pearl come alive than be muted, but i will try it eventually.

Hi Gary Sword. Wow nicely wet glow, the Corvette rite... How about Natty's Blue compare to Pinnacle SS II..?

As I'm looking for a carnauba that is full of oil to make the color wet.... I've finish up my Swissol Onyx which is very wet as it has oil in it. Currently I'm using M16 but it just shine but M16 didn't glow like the Onyx. Altho M16 is more durable than the Onyx many times...

The distributor that sells the Swissol in my country is very rude. The story is that I postpone my order of the Swissol Sahpir for a month coz my car broke down & needed the money to fix it 1st. And the person at Swissol scold me & said that I'm stupid to have bought the car I have. That's why I don't ever want to buy anything from them again. That's why I'm looking for a great alternative carnauba paste wax.

Thanks a lot guys for the feedback. :)

I like both Signiture Series and Natty's Blue. I have tried them both on the dark silver metalic Corvette and I like Signiture Series the best on that color. Natty's blue also looks very good. If the paint is metalic Signitures Series really does make the flakes pop out more. Both give a lot a depth and wetness to the paint.

Hi Gary Sword. Thank you so much for ur help. I'll get the SS II. TQ. :)

If you're looking for oils why not use a glaze? Waxes and glazes go hand and hand for me.

Hi wytstang, yes I do use glazes but I only use them after a couple of month when I do a full detail on the car. But on a regular basis I only use the wax by themself. So it would be nice it I could have a wax tht has more oil. Altho I understand it might not be so durable then.

M16 has been a very good wax to me. It does shine but it lacks the wetness of a more oily carnauba. But I'm just wasting the M16 as I wax every 1-2 weeks once. Its such a durable wax tht I thought might as well save it for raining season & just use a more oily wax on a sunny day. :) I read tht Natty's Blue is quite oily wax.

I prefer SS on silver, but here is a pic of Souveran on my previous Vette ...
