I want to purchase one line of polishing products and have narrowed it down (sort of) to a few manufacturers.

What's everyone's opinion of the Pinnacle XMT polishing line (for use with a PC)? Autogeek sells a nice "bundle" of four polishes that would be a really great deal when they have their 15% sale.

How does XMT compare to Optimum polishes - which is the other line I was thinking of purchasing.

As stated, they'll be used strictly with a PC.

Thanks

Go with the XMT it was made for PC if I remember correctly.

Once I tried Menzerna Nano Polishes and Wolfgang 3.0 polishes, XMT just sits on a shelf, collecting dust.

:whs: on the Menzerna line...great stuff. Although I do have a #3 XMT that I haven't used yet. Will still have to gauge that one.

I like both. I love the Menzerna but here I do alot of 1 steps (cheap students) and have a hard time swallowing $50 for a bottle.

Menzerna, Wolfgang and XMT are all great products. Menzerna and Wolfgang we see more with our pro detailers and XMT with weekenders, mainly due to Menzerna up till lately only came in the 32 oz bottles, and the price points put XMT is a lot more reasonable for those that wont use 32 oz in a year! When XMT was formulated it was made with the Porter Cable in mind, low dusting, easy to use and nicely priced. The other feature that makes XMT a bit more easier to work with for the Novice is the easy 1,2,3,4 cuts... makes figuring out what you need simple. Menzerna if you know the line its easy if not, you have to do some reading to figure which one has what cut and what products you need. Hope that explains it a bit better for you, just my $.02 :D
