Will it strip a LSP if you use too much? Kinda like chemical guys citrus wash. One once to wash, two onces to strip. Just curious. Also, what about DP auto bath?

You would have to use a damn lot of soap to strip the wax with a car wash soap that is designed to be gentle on your wax.

I used the the frozen fuzion on my girlfriends car last weekend. I washed it Friday night, then on Saturday morning I used some wolfgang detail spritz on it. I had a hard time dragging the towel across the paint. I know the fuzion went on a little oily and looked a little different. I just thought I might have used too much shampoo in the bucket.

I remember reading over on autopia that someone said it stripped there pinnicle wax off. Posts #17
Sealant wearing off after one wash? - Page 2 - Autopia.org

It didn't effect my car with the RBOE on it.

You know...it might just do that if you use too much. It would make sense ya know? Is there anything on the label that says x amount of soap for this, and x amount of soap for that?

I consider this wash one of the lightest available, only P21S seems lighter. Waxes are clearly safe with either ...

The only ones that I've heard that will readily strip are strong solutions of citrus wash; NXT wash; and Dawn.

hello. i used pinnacle's car wash for the first time and i was amazed. two capfuls for about 2 gallons of hard water :( (gonna get the filter set-up soon). the car dried easy and effortlessly. heres a pic next day of the car washed.

Don't get me wrong here!! I love that shampoo. I was just wondering if using too much, like citrus wash, would strip a LSP.

Thanks Dana. It says a 1 ounce for 2-3 gallons. But it doesn't seem slick enough. Would 2-3 ounces be too much for 3 gallons?

If it states a 1 to 3 ratio, and your going 1 to 1, it's probably gonna do some removal of your LSP. Maybe not entirely, but I'd suspect it will strip wax at that ratio.

I used this product yesterday in my cannon. It smelled great and did a spectacular job. I think you would have to use alot to strip your wax.
