In a few weeks going to be placing an order for some supplies. Mostly Polish (both cut & finish), Sealer and Wax. Looking for opinions on the wax and opinions/ comments on the other items.

For the sealer Jescar Ultralock ( definitely going with this)
The polishes Sonax Cutmax and Perfect Finish
Detailer I may pick up a gallon of Tec 582 (Still have 1/3 of a gallon of this)
Iron remover Superior Products Purple X
Waxes definitely one bottle of Collinite 845. Also considering picking up Jescar Ceramic Spray Wax.

One thing I'm considering with the Jescar wax is the size. For $19.00 can get a 22 oz bottle. However for $66.00 can get a gallon which is the equivalent of six 22 oz bottles. I've never used the Jescar wax but through limited reviews it seems like a solid product and probably going to use the Ultralock on three of my four vehicles so product synergy and all that. I calculated I would get between 30-40 wax applications with the gallon. That's a lot and will take several years to use that quantity. So fighting with buying such a large quantity. Thoughts on this?

I would just get the smaller bottle. You may find yourself wanting to try something else before you'd get thru a gallon and it could go bad before you can use it up.

I agree with above, get the smaller bottle. The gallons are always tempting. While i have many products on my shelf in gallon sizes, its mosttly of items that i constantly use.

Generally I regret buying large sizes of products because either that product gets updated or others come along before I'm anywhere near using up what I bought.
Solid reasoning. My luck a month after I bought the gallon they would come out with a spray wax that performs like a ceramic coating.

Just to be clear, I have done this tons of times, after doing the math as you have, where I have bought the larger size as it seems to be a no-brainer. But after you do that with a few brands...then you wind up with a bunch of stuff you never use, if you're me, anyway.

You seem to have more of a routine, and are more resistant to accumulating a lot of different brands/products, so maybe the gallon is the right choice for you.

Or the bottle gets knocked over.

Or left in the sun.

Or it congeals.

Or . . .

It's very much against my nature to not get the better deal, but I'm getting better at retraining myself when I can't figure out when I would possibly finish the big one.

.......................Or the product ends up being a total dud, which means you are left with a gallon of unusable product. Cough, Bilt Hamber Trace-less, Cough Meguiar's Leather Cleaner and Conditioner.............................

This.

The only two things I buy in the gallon size are soap and wheel cleaner because I'd go through smaller consumer sized bottles way to fast. As for everything else, since I'm only caring for my own personal fleet (which has really shrunk with the kids moving away) everything else, even in the normal sizes lasts a really long time...i.e. multiple detailing seasons.
