Here we have an old but rarely used Aerobatic Glider. It only has 300 hrs on it so it wasn't in to bad of shape.
It was out at Lake Elsinore in Cal so my work day started at 6am to beat the 100 degree heat.
Waterless Washed, no clay. I always so to clay but this thing isn't a car that is exposed like something on the ground. It's in a hanger when not in use and in the air when it is so really no need to clay it.
My final process ended up being my Rupes 21 Bigfoot, Meg's MF Cutting pad and Meg's M66 cleaner wax.
The underside of the wings and the Plexi Bubble got treated with Meg's D156 Express Wax
First step, coolers full of ice and drinks!!!!
Darn it! I didn't beet the sunrise. But still a beautiful shot from the Outlook Restaurant on the Ortega Hwy of Death.
When we showed up it was very nice and the plane was cold, very cold but that wouldn't last.
50' of wing
My starter was the yellow Soft buff pad but that was cutting enough
Action shot of some guy
Checking to see if I remembered to put the pad on my buffer.
My sexy face! stand back girls!
8 hrs later I was done, because my helper didn't show up! jk, she had a job of her own to do. But man I missed her!
Also not much of reflection shots due to the sun being directly above me and this wasn't a paint correction, just another Wash-N-Wax
I was able to find this sun shot
The crud you see is a paint of some kind or glue or ???
