Looking at You Tube Plasti dip / How to videos, Interested Yes.

But I trust more, the word from here, than You-Tube!!!

Is it that simple to use? tip´s for this stuff, please repply!!!

Pretty much, also it does smell strongly so use in a well ventilated area.

Works good. Covers well. Peels off easily. Make sure you tape well though. I have had no luck 'peeling' off the overspray as this area is not an even/thick enough coat to peel off easily like your target area.

Plan to use it this weekend to do more lower grill on my silverado.

thought about doing this to me wheels to see how it would look with black wheels and a polished lip. Also, has anyone plastidipped the inner barrel of there wheel to protect it?

Here is a picture of my engine cover with it for over 3 years.

You can see it on my grill where the Honda symbol is. Took 6 light coats to get it to look perfect and be fully covered. Mine came out more spotty than full like spray paint usually does so it took a little more time for coverage.

I used it on the wheels of my 2007 Chevy Equinox last July and just now needs to be re-done. This product holds up well if applied properly.

You need to respect one rule with plasti-dip.. Don't be cheap... If you use just 1-2 coat.. The result won't last.. And when you will try to peel it off.. You will want to die! 4 layer minimum! But great result if it's what you want to have like finish!

Got it, thank´s for the Tip. sure will be 4layers. better to give a leave a better finish. to save some $$. and do a poor a job

How much time, you guys give from coat To Coat.
I know ambient temperature has to do a lot. and from the last coat. how many minutes or hours to let it dry and Peel the right way?

If you can Take some Pict. from how it was / spraying the coat´s and ofcourse the finish.

I´m very interested, on the Interior painted parts that some car´s have that finish already.

Changing the color can add ofcourse a nice extra income for us here at the shop
Remember We are 24hrs driving to the San Ysidro Border!! so anything extra that I can offer to my South Baja coustomers is nice!!!!

I just did my grill , front and rear bumpers, gas cap door , door pillar and rocker panels, hood scoops . fairly easy , first time I was spraying too far away and it left a more grainy look , removed it , sprayed closer and more heavy , came out smooth . gonna do the wheels on the car soon . all with rattle can . I'm gonna get a wagner sprayer and go gallons . I really want to try to do a whole vehicle , not mine though . lol

I use it as a car bra when going on trips. Two to ghree cans gets you what you need then you can just peel off when done. Great stuff, but likeit's been said, spray on at least 4-5 coats.
