Hello

I have four new to me from the state of Florida that were plasti dip but not total removed from the face of the wheels and inside the barrels.

I need some suggestions to remove the left over product please

As far as I know, the point of Plastidip is it peels off pretty easy.

I'd get a plastic razor and start a corner, edge, etc and start pulling.

Tar-X or Trix will pretty much melt it. any tar remover will work really. WD-40 works as well.

It should if they did it right with I forget how many coats, 6-7 I think. If not it will tear and come off in small pieces.

Citrus is good...
Try one (or both) of these:

The turtle was label remove above works well I have used it before on a focus and it's cheap and local. Then just pressure wash off after a 3-5 minute wait

FWIW... the TW label remover does a great job on removing rubberized undercoating as well.

Wd40 worked for me when I messed up on one of my wheel well trims.

Xylene will remove it very quickly. Don't leave it on very long as it will etch into bare alloy wheels.

Thank you all for input the TW worked very well. I then followed using my steamer and then I wiped them dry. Now I need to coat the wheels which should I get dlux or PBL wheel coating and should I coat before or after new tires are installed
