Please give Input on my mobile business name please

I will make this short and sweet.. please give input.
Starting up my own mobile detail business




I live in an area called 30-A in Santa Rosa Beach in between Panama City Beach and Destin , Fl

some of you may be familiar with the area People from all over drive around with the blue logo 30-A stickers on them

anyways here is what I have come up with.


1. 30-Auto Detailing < Largeer A for both the 30A part as well as Auto

2. 30-A Mobile Detailing

3. 30-A Mobile Detail

4. 30-A Details



Any of these sound like a good idea?

please give input for other suggestion and if you do like one of these please post which number.

You may want to think about taking the 30-A out completely. If you are willing to travel outside of that area for work then people may think that if they don't live in 30-A that you won't come to them

Thanks I have thought about that.

Because I do travel to destin, panama city and fort walton as well..

But I was wanting to try and be more of an exclusive and well known on 30A as It's an area that once your name is recognized as recommended It will net you alot of solid business.

However I realize I can do this with any business name..


Any suggestions for names then? I feel like every good mobile detailing name has already been taken at this point
 
Thinking about the choices, our community clearly knows what mobile detailing involves.

I understand logos and ads can help debunk what it could mean, but, if this is strictly seen in just print form as 30-A Mobile Detail, that could mean a whole list of things.

How about a business name and your slogan including 30 - A?

XXX Automotive Detailing

"Serving 30A since 2013" or any other saying that fits.

Congrats on making the move into the business.

Yeah I get what you are saying.

I was going to have my 5x8 trailer vinyl wrapped with my logo , phone number and probably a picture of a car ( that I have detailed )

Not sure If I am going to list services on the side or not.

I am seriously considering purchasing the Chemical Guys Eco Pod and have thought about naming my business something to do with Eco in the name as being green is really big around here..


something like The Eco touch... Waterless and Rinse less Automotive detailing or something of that sort??

Keep the name generic don't limit yourself.. green is always a great selling feature untill the day comes and the job is too big to go "waterless" and you have to bust out the hose and now you risk offending someone. Under whatever name you choose put something like "servicing 30-A and surrounding areas."

If you have allot of high end work then advertise to that

"Elite Mobile Detailing"
"Servicing 30-A and surrounding areas!!"

Yep.

I would love to be doing business in your area. Opportunities are endless, boats, cars, exotics are a plenty I imagine.
 
Here's my 2 cents. I've owned a web development company for years, and just now doing something I actually like, starting a detailing company.

The name of my web company was, at first, y4hdesigns (long story as to why.)

I learned a valuable lesson on names, make it phoenetic, and avoid combos of numbers and letters like the plague, they can be a nightmare. 30A isn't as bad as mine, but I still think I'd go with something simpler.

I live in Bozeman, Montana, which is surrounded by the Beartooth Mountains. My company name is now Beartooth Web Development. Added bonus is it's at the top of the alphabet, something to consider. I also own Beartooth Web and App Development - Bozeman, Montana which is easy to remember.

Think about URL's and giving out emails and web addresses.

FWIW, my detailing company is called "Davis Auto Detailing." Easy, not really inventive, but most people will remember it, and I can use the tagline "need a clean car, Call DAD!" or whatever.

I have also considered since I'm going to go w/ such an eco route via waterless and rinseless washes ( though I will offer traditional washes )

I could go with the name

Eco Clean ( and underneath )
Mobile auto Detailing


Thoughts ??

I just read through both of your articles. Thanks for the advice! It's great you take the time to provide such a wealth of Info on so many topics that so many of us can use to grow and learn in our business or for those that it is a hobby.

I really focused in on this line
Choose a name that tells your prospective customer what's in it for them.


Since I'm going to be focusing so much on a direction of detailing that no one in my area seems to be doing which is Eco friendly detailing I really want to address this in my business name.

1. this is something that is important to me
2. I personally believe alot of people in this area of the gulf coast on the beach stand behind and support Green companies
3. Other detailers in my area don't appear to be offering an Eco package of some sort.

4. I've decided to Invest more in an area of detailing products that are eco friendly and less harsh on the environment.

* Mind you I will be offering Traditional washes as an option on top of my waterless and rinseless packages and I'm not completely ruling out certain products That I believe do just to good of a job to remove from my arsenal. I just believe for my business and what I want to offer the ECO friendly set up is what will serve both me and my customers best.

therefore I really want to name my business something along the lines of

ECO Clean automotive detailing

Eco Clean mobile detailing


I believe it says what I do and states to the client, customer, the person driving by or the person who sees one of my business cards that I am a auto detailer who is Green.. so to speak..

Any opinions or thoughts on this would be Greatly appreciated!

Very important. You never want to make your customer work at trying to figure out what it is you do and what's in it for them. Make it easy.

One of the other things my article on choosing a name talks about is doing everything you can to use simple words in your business name that are easy to spell, write, type, speak and remember.

Pretend you're trying to reach a 5th grader.

So instead of the "words" in the business names you chose above, how about,


ECO Clean auto detailing

(Note I removed the motive in the word automotive. Less letters, easier to spell, shorter domain name, and you still have the full meaning telling your customer what's in it for them)




This one is okay, believe it or not, some people can't spell mobile.

Eco Clean mobile detailing


Next, see if the above names are available as a .com domain name, i.e.


www.ecocleanautodetailing.com

or

www.ecocleanmobiledetailing.com


Once you decide in concrete on a domain, go to GoDaddy.com and purchase it before it's gone.
