Please help me link pad to product

Hi everyone,

Just got a new set of pads.

2 yellow
1 orange
1 white
2 black.

I want to "link" some of my products to these pads to make sure everything im doing is correct. So please advise as to whether or not this is right

Compounds like Meg's Ultimate or 105 could go with yellow or orange

Polishes go with black

Wax's with white?

Is that about right?

It seems like there are so many different pads that all accomplish the same thing.
 
Wax/sealant i apply with Red Ultrasoft Pad, white i use on polishes and orange i use to take our swirls/minor scratches.
 
Hello, I am fairly new to the correction side of detailing, but from my understanding compounds/polishes can go with yellow/orange, white/black is polishes, and black/red with wax/sealants. But that's the general idea, in the end it all comes down to the type of car paint you are dealing with. Sometimes you will have to mix and match until you get the results you desire, but what I just listed seem to be working for me so far.
