Pls Reply Quick! About to apply decal

Hey everyone i'm adding some lemans stripes to my 06 Stang today, was wondering if its fine to apply them ontop of the mseal and carnauba wax currently on the car?

After taping off where the stripes will go, I would probably wipe those areas down with Erasure or an IPA (Isop Acl / Water mix).

I personally wouldn't. I'd make sure there was nothing between the adhesive and the paint of the car to make sure it would stick well.
