What are the best product recommendations for gel-coat. I've messed around with some car polishes (m205 ect...) with a foam pad. They do remove faint swirls but the gelcoat sucks up the product to quick and leaves caked on product unless you use a lot.

Personally,I have had good results using Meguiars M67 on a DA using a foam cut pad

Also a Rotary with a wool pad does well

The M67 has good correction and actually finishes out pretty good

If you only have minor swirls you could go with M49.
I follow up with Meguiars Flagship Wax

These Marine polishes have more oils to keep them from drying up so fast .

M105 will dry out fast on gelcoat.
