Has anybody come up with a polish mixer similar to a paint shaker?

Since it is always a few months between full details for me for my cars or doing friends cars, I have to manually shake the polishes and compounds (such as Menzerna) so they are mixed properly for use to provide desired results.

Has anyone identified an apparatus similar to a paint shaker that will mix it up? Is there a paint shaker that you have used that will adjust and accommodate the 16oz and 32 oz bottles of polish?

Thanks,

David

Twist a metal coat hanger into a loop to fit your container, and other end in cordless drill...

Mix Kwiks has this attachment that attaches to a sawsall.

I have used to mix paint in aerosal cans and polishes in soft bottles.

Had mine 3 years and finally broke, but I used too fast a speed.

New one only use moderate speed.

I had a friend that bought an old paint store shaker. After he quit professional house painting he adapted it to all sorts of other stuff.
He would take a gallon paint can, stuff it full of towels to support what he was shaking and let it go for five minutes. Whatever he put in there sure was well mixed.

I use the MixKwik also. Works well. Definitely use a moderate speed.

You can get small battery powered "milk frothers" at most kitchen stores. Used for making fancy coffee drinks (i.e. Cappuccino). The simple ones are just a little spring curled in a circle about the diameter of a quarter. It sits on the end of a ~5" long spindle. Like a hand mixer but much smaller. Insert into wax/polish bottle, move up and down. I've also used a clean spade bit on the drill.
