Hey all,

I am building a 57 Chevy short bed. The time is here to order wheels. I told myself I would never have polished aluminum wheels again but here we are............
Was 100% on ceramic coated black wheels until I started seeing them in pics and realized unless you are on top of the car, there is no depth perception and you lose all details of the wheel.

Not being happy with the look of a painted center and a polished ring, I am back to fully polished.

After looking into clear powder coats and 2k urethanes, there are too many negatives and no positives on the matter so I am back here looking for recommendations on coatings.

I was told by Boze alloys and Schott wheels that my best bet would be a ceramic coating specially formulated for wheels to which I have a few questions:

What would my best choice be for a ceramic coating?
How long will it last?
WIll it stop the oxidation process and if not, how do you remove it to re-polish?
If ceramic is not the answer, what other products would you recommend?
Lastly - what product on the market is comparable to Mothers Billet polish? It gone and everything else I have tried can't hold a candle to it(regular Mother's, Adam's #1 and #2 and CG)

Signed,
Want the shine without the work :)
