For those of you who don't know, I first mentioned this car in this thread: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/off-topic/69440-i-got-new-car.html. I was able to give it a full detail, including interior, jams, engine, trunk area, glass, trim, and paint. I did pay somebody to shampoo the seats and carpets, as the previous owner did not use floor mats, so they were pretty bad and required the use of an extractor. Looks tons better, but I am considering carpet replacement in the future. Also on my wish list are new speakers (driver's side front speaker needs to be replaced anyway) and window tint. Will also be painting the steel wheels some time soon. Anyway, for the purposes of this thread, I am going to primarily focus on the paint and trim. Besides, that's pretty much all I took pictures of. :o Process is as follows.

Sorry this was not a better writeup. I really forgot to focus on taking good before and after pics - got more involved with the detailing than I did with pics. Just to note - Dodo Juice Iron Gloss Paint Sealant was very easy to use. I applied to the whole car, let it sit for about 45 minutes, and then removed. It came off effortlessly and left a very nice shine and a slick finish. Working on some beading testing - I will try and take some video next time I wash it. Couldn't find any beading or sheeting videos of this product online, so I guess mine could potentially be the first. Sweet! Im the MAN Also forgot to mention that I painted the front grill with plastic trim paint, but didn't get any pictures of that. Thanks for looking! As always, comments, constructive criticism, and suggestions are welcome!

Lookin good Shane. There was a bit of contamination on there.

I'm sure the difference with the painted grill looks much better than before.

Good job. Yeah I've been working on taking good before and after pictures. I always get caught up on Detailing lol.

I really like the CarPro Dlux. In the future I might get it. There are other Detailing equipment taking it's place of the Dlux for the time being.

^ you can also crop the pictures for it to concentrate on the specific area too. For future pictures.

I love silver paint.
Excellent work and write up.
Metal flake is POPPIN'!

Congrats on the new ride hand :props:
