Mike P,

Just wanted to say thanks for all the effort you put into your articles and videos. I polished the RAV4 yesterday and like the title says, your instructions were perfect. I used WG TSR, then WG FG, then Menz Powerlock. Took me about half the car with the TSR to really get the technique. After that things went a lot faster. TSR took me like 2 hrs (with a couple breaks). FG took me an hour with my wife buffing up after me (thanks, hon). Ditto for the PL. The car looks incredible. All of the fine spiderweb swirls are GONE and the paint is very glossy. The WG and Menz are incredible products - they go on easier than any wax I've ever used and removal is just a quick buff (my wife sez thanks).

Sorry no photos. It was still cloudy in PA and I couldn't get good shots. You could only see the before and after if you got real close at an angle. The digital just wouldn't pick it up.

Amen....Wolfgang and Menzerna are indeed incredible products. I'm more familiar with the WG twins, and how easy they are to work with. I have also discovered that Optimum Hyper Compound and Polish are right up there with ease of use and performance.

Its very hard to use any of these products using proper technique...and not be completely satisfied with the results.

Try the Menz PL. It went on and came off so easy it was a breeze. I checked the car a few hours later and the Menz was glossing and getting slicker than snail snot. This am the car was very glossy and as slick as polished wet teflon. The PL did get a little hard plastic looking like everybody says about the acrylic sealants, but I'll improve that with a topping of 845. I highly recommend PL if you want a sealant. If a newb can get results like this, the product has to be pretty darn good.
