I was going thru my basement and found some polishing cloth still in original packaging. Is this stuff used anymore; it says its used for polishing, and its made out of cotton. Should I use this, or can it harm the finish?
Thanks

I stick with quality microfibers for paint anymore. Perhaps those can be usefull for interiors and/or engine compartments!

Depending on the polishing cloth I use them for opticoat application

You can always try the CD test...if they scratch the shiny side of a CD, they can scratch paint. If they do scratch, you can always use them for door jambs, wheel wells, etc.

Thanks for the input guys!!
I'll try the cd test, but I think the CD;s are just as outdated as the cloth's LOL!
