You will not be able to polish out any swirls in the glass with a regular pad and polish.

You will need a hard felt pad and some cerium oxide powder. However, this combination will only remove light swirls and scratches you can not feel. You also have to be careful polishing glass as it can distort the glass if you polish it too much.

The Diamondite kit says nothing about swirls. Only "water spots, mineral deposits, tree sap mist, bugs, and oily films to recreate the look of new glass." It is great for polishing glass (not in a paint polishing sense) by removing the above mentioned contaminats. But it will not remove swirls in the glass.
