With the advancement of paint coatings etc. I was just thinking with all the pollen, just think how much a product would sell to repel pollen! Maybe a temporary spray on product or quick wipe on product after a wash. Heck, we got a product for rotor rust after a wash!
 
My truck has a fresh coat of Duragloss 111/601, UNDER ALL THE YELLOW POLLEN!!!!!
 
If you think about it, some pollen has some pretty aggressive attachment methods (think spikes and Velcro), like the briars that get on your pants when walking through the wood, this stuff will even stick to raincoat material.

Perhaps keeping the amount of
static-charge down somewhat would help... :dunno:

And use (lightly dampened) 100% cotton MF-towels...
instead of ones made from "plastics"):
