With love bug season in full swing here in south Louisiana, I figured I'd do a review to show just how well this stuff works. The test subject is my 2016 Honda Accord Sport. About a week and a half ago I clayed it with a cobra clay mitt and then applied Poorboy's white diamond and topped it with DP Max Wax. Today was the first wash since then.
This is the current condition of my front end. This is after driving to work for 2 days.
To show the effectiviness, I sprayed just the drives side with a 3:1 ratio of bug squash and let it dwell for approx. 3 min before pressure washing it off.
Of course a love bug decides to show up
This is after pressure washing both sides off. I did both sides at the same distance and for the same amount of time. As you can see the bug squash side is completely bug free, where as the untreated side still has bugs.
After doing both sides I went back and sprayed the passenger side, let it dwell then hosed it off. This is what it looks like dissolving the remaining bug guts.
So as you can see, bug squash definitely works and I highly recommend it. It's probably the most effective bug remover that I've ever used, and it doesn't seem to affect the LSP all that much if any,
