With love bug season in full swing here in south Louisiana, I figured I'd do a review to show just how well this stuff works. The test subject is my 2016 Honda Accord Sport. About a week and a half ago I clayed it with a cobra clay mitt and then applied Poorboy's white diamond and topped it with DP Max Wax. Today was the first wash since then.

This is the current condition of my front end. This is after driving to work for 2 days.

To show the effectiviness, I sprayed just the drives side with a 3:1 ratio of bug squash and let it dwell for approx. 3 min before pressure washing it off.

Of course a love bug decides to show up

This is after pressure washing both sides off. I did both sides at the same distance and for the same amount of time. As you can see the bug squash side is completely bug free, where as the untreated side still has bugs.

After doing both sides I went back and sprayed the passenger side, let it dwell then hosed it off. This is what it looks like dissolving the remaining bug guts.

So as you can see, bug squash definitely works and I highly recommend it. It's probably the most effective bug remover that I've ever used, and it doesn't seem to affect the LSP all that much if any,

Nice review!

I use it quite often. I can attest that it works good.

At the price and dilution ratio, it's hard to beat. It's one of the few products that I have no problem buying a gallon of...along with PB's glass cleaner. Just picked up some more with the free shipping sale.

The only bad part is my front end will look like this again when I get home :( Does any one use it in a "spray and wipe" kinda way? I would like to be able to clean just the front end with out having to wash the entire car.

Nice work! They've been hanging around Central FL the last few weeks. Here's a current shot of the permanent damage they did to the test car from before I started working with it:

Time to load up on Bug Squash!

Anyone who likes Auto Finesse Citrus Power, but hates its price tag, look into Bug Squash.

I've been altering between the two and cannot say one is better. The edge goes to PB because you get a whole lot more for your dollar without sacrificing results.

Can you use Bug Squash without a water source in the hot sun? Can you just spray it on, wipe the bugs off, and wipe it dry with a microfiber?

I'm a big fan of Bugsquash. Truly a must have product in Florida

Agreed, great Bug Remover, just got another bigger bottle in the mail last week.

I sometimes spray, let dwell, wipe using their bug micro, bugs go bye bye, then spray and wipe with regular micro.

I see it works for others, but haven't tried it myself.

My usual routine is spray, let dwell, wipe, then followed with a waterless to finish off the area. Works like a charm.
