Poorboy's Trim Restorer

I use it as a tool to enable faster polishing. i apply it genorously and after I am done polishing simply wash the car again. It saves me from tapeing a lot of the times. Nothing sticks to or stains trim that is treated with Trim Restorer. I have used a little over a pint on 20 cars this year.

I get good results with this method as well. I have also noticed it gives it a lot more durability as well.

Do you folks think this stuff is better then Mother's Back to Black or Megs Rubber/Trim restorer?

I have both the above products and they have preformed ok, but like a lot of us I'm always looking for new stuff

Mark
Mothers Back to Black is one of the worst detailing products I have ever used, so yes, a much better product.

Do you guys recommend to use this stuff on wheel wells too? If not then what do yall recommend for that?

I've never used what you're talking about. I only have Black Wow. It's just PTR will work on any color surface. The darker the better the shine or the smoother. Order some and you won't be disappointed.

The Mothers product you mention is a thick gooey silicone product that simply coats trim, it does look ok but washes right off. The Poorboys Trim Restorer gets down into the trim and actually rejuvinates it somehow(repairs it), so yes I do believe it is a much better product.

This product would be too expensive to be spraying in wheel wells, though I am confident that it would work well. I use Poorboys World Bold and Bright for wheel wells.

im addicted to this stuff. i use it on the interior, all rubber/vinyl trim, tires, and even on the undercarriage spray on the race car.

i am actually thinking about putting it in a spray bottle, ive just been dumping it on a mf towel and rubbing it on. any thoughts on using it as a spray?

I use a spray top on the bottle but usually only spray it onto an applicator of like i posted above directly onto a foam paint brush for even drip less coverage

I've been using Trim Restore for a couple years now. One of my best detailing tools. I also have it in a spray bottle and use it on my tires, wheel wells, underhood plastic like the air box or any where there is something black. I use it on all my black plastic interior pieces. It's good for anything black IMO
