Porter Cable 7424 brush change?

How hard is it to change out the brushes on my old 7424. I bought the Griots yesterday, already received it. Dang that things got some weight. lol. But I'm thinking the reason my 7424 will not spin with pressure is because maybe the brushes wore out. Found them for less than $10 for the pair. How hard of a change is it? Any write ups anywhere? Thanks guys

I'd like to know this, too.
My brushes definitely need changing. I can press the assembly closer to the commutator and it works like new.
Only thing is keeping it down while working. I managed to insert a piece of cardboard and tie it in with e-tape, but it only last so long and loses power again.
