Porter Cable at Sema 2012?????

Eh? I don't think Porter Cable even had a booth. If you were expecting some new product updates, they do things on a geologic time scale, plus the detailing market is hardly even a blip on their radar. I'd start looking for changes to the PC XP about 2020.

EDIT: I just looked at the 2012 SEMA Exhibitor list, and didn't see Porter-Cable or their corporate parent Stanley Black & Decker.

SEMA isn't a detailing show, it's the Specialty Equipment Manufacturer's Association show. There were something like 2000 exhibitors, so maybe 1% were detailing-related?

Flex was there together with Griot's Garage why not PC?

the pc is a piece of crap anyway.... so who cares.

:iagree:
PC is a company that does not stand behing their products. They should be on forums like this one to check the cons about their underpowered PC7424XP.

Wow I was actually looking at one before I picked the Griot's. I looked at it on other sites and the prices are dropping. I haven't used the 6 inch Griots I have yet. That's why I love this forum people give there honest opinion s to help each other out.

You've done the right move. Griot's polisher is much better than Porter Cable and not to ignore the lifetime warranty.
