I'm trying to figure out the +'s and -'s of a foam cannon. If i go with a foam cannon, it's less rubbing the car which is a good thing, but would i still need a mf mitt? Do you just mix your soap and water in the bottle and attach the gun?

Foam cannon's are for pw's right? Foam gun's for garden hose?

Foam Gun= Hose
Foam Cannon / Foam Lance = pressure washer

Yes, you will still need a mitt...

The thick foam allows longer/stronger dwell times *less contamination on the paint by the time you mitt touches it = less likely to induce marring*

Mutliple bottles with different dilution ratios & different products gives you flexibility to do maint wash, strip down wash, wheels.

the nice thing about the foam gun is you can use it while you wash, where as you can't with the foam cannon/lance. sure the foam will dwell longer when you use the foam cannon/lance, but being able to use the foam gun while washing makes up for it...
