I had today off of work and 3 hrs booked at The Bays Wheeling today from 11 a.m till 2 p.m. and need all 3 hrs!

I started by doing an engine bay pre-cleaning here at home this morning, using a mixture of 24 oz of water, 1.5 oz of TW hoseless lift RW and my 1000ml Kwazzer to clean and/or flush out all the nooks and crannies of the engine bay

Once there I decided to try out Griot's Garage Ceramic Vinyl and Rubber Protectant for my engine bay needs. I simply sprayed and let it sit and moved right into the "carwash" but I did apply CarPro WheelX to the wheels and used my Mother's Tire and Wheel brush to do a quick cleaning. I didn't rinse them because I knew I'd be foaming them ASAP, still got bleeding out of them, even with all the touch-free washes and short drives they're still not as clean as they could be

Taking Cracks advice on how to use the Labocosmetica 3pH carwash system I got to it. I started by foaming Primus 2.0 @ 3 oz/24 oz of water in the foam cannon and let dwell and rinsed off. At this point the beads were crazy, so it was time for the next step...Purifica! For this product I used 2 oz/24 oz water, you can see this is a more serious product, probably didn't need it but I wanted the full 3pH experience! Per Crack I foamed Purifica on the car, let it dwell but didn't rinse, instead I moved right into the Semper 2BM and knocked it out! Upon rinsing that phrase I coined a while ago came up again..."You could SEE the clean!" I felt so good doing this, whether the EN needed it or didn't matter, it was cleaned and prepped for the next step

I decided to to apply ADS glass coating thanks to Uncbrs (THANK YOU!) because this was the easiest to apply & remove! I used the stort nap mf towels from AMMO NYC to knock it down and TRC Eagle edgeless mfs to level and it was VERY easy

A while ago I bought ADS Phobics to be applied coming out of winter and going INTO winter to "boost" my ADS Quartz Coating, overkill...yeah...and

This product right here...HOMERUN! From application to removal, no sweat and buying their pearl puck applicators proved to a great idea, the ergonomics of them...WOW

Once done, actually while moving around the car, I couldn't help but notice the gloss increase, it was noticeable to me (see those hood shots below, from inside and outside) At this point I couldn't wait to get outside because by now the rain clouds had moved away and sun was out, I knew the EN would look incredible outside but gotta finish up some loose ends here

I opened the hood and used some more Griot's Garage Ceramic Vinyl and Rubber Protectant to even things out, this product is thick, unlike the HOF product that is Koch Chemie Mp, that product is the best out there IMO but I wanted to see how this looked and you know what, it's fine

Lastly I applied that stuff to the tires, treated the steering wheel to Geist leather conditioner and Griot's Garage Stinky Be Gone Light Em Up interior scent sprayed inside, love ALL their scents

Now the 6 month old ADS Quartz Coating is "boosted" and glass is coated, going to be interesting to see how ADS glass coating does compared to CarPro Clarify Phobics, that product right there has some "witchcraft" in, couldn't be happier with its performance this winter, all those car washes and it just lasts and lasts

Thank you for reading and looking, any questions I know you'll ask

Before and after engine bay...more pics coming, stay "tuned"

It's always harder to get good pics of whites and lighter greys, showing off black and darker cars is almost cheating, but then you think about how much harder they are to keep clean, we'll call it a draw.

Yeah that got super cleaned! Good feeling for sure. I like the mirror shot btw.

What I didn't notice until I did the original post of these pics was the "bleeding" in the foam. Now I used WheelX on the wheels, didn't rinse and went straight to Primus 2.0 and foamed it but honestly, I don't know if these pics are from THAT or after I rinsed and re-foamed with Purifica. So the thing is, where did the bleeding come from, do one of the Labocosmetica soaps have iron remover in them...Crack, anyone, educate me

PS those puck applicators you liked are not exclusive to ADS, they have been at TRC for a while, although they are out of stock at the moment.

Yeah I've never heard of them honestly but obviously items like that ADS doesn't make but they can certainly hand pick quality items to compliment their high quality products

Well, thanks for the review of them, I actually was never interested in them, but your positive comments have made me decide to take a second look.

EDIT: Wait a minute, those are "no-soak" applicators? I see they have them at DI, and they say they were a collaboration between TRC and Autofiber.

Your welcome!

I basically used 3 sprays of Phobic per panel and laid the coating down nicely. I did a quick wash of the applicator right away in the sink but honestly I'll probably use that applicator as a tire applicator, it's was like $11.00 for 4 of them through ADS
