I'm not sure if this is the right sub-forum to create this thread. Mods, if this is not, please feel free to move it to the proper sub-forum.

Anyway, I recently put on a coat of Ultimate Liquid Wax. I'm just amazed at the hydrophobic effects it gives especially when I hit it with a stream of water. Well recently, it's been raining in Phoenix which is rare nowadays... It already rained last weekend so the car already had a layer of dirt on. I would have thought that this would degrade the effect of the water beading but boy I was wrong. I woke up today and it was drizzling. I got out of bed and rushed to the garage to see how the water beading on the car looks (sad huh??). I was all smiles as I opened the garage door. As I saw that, it got me thinking that we don't have a water beading show off thread so I quickly got my camera and snapped a few pics.

So members of AGO, show off your beading shots!!! Please make sure to post what LSP you used. I'll get started.

Just imagine if the surface was clean... The beading would probably be tighter.

Here are more pics from the rain we got from California yesterday morning:

It still has the same coat of ULW as my first post. It was washed with a rinseless wash last week.

Please post yours!

LSP is two coats of BFWD topped with one coat of 845. And the windows have one coat of BFWD.

Collinite #885 beading... :dblthumb2:

This was Wolfgang DGPS topped with BF Midnight Sun. This shot was taken about 5 months after application. Not the best picture.

These are the last beading pictures I took. They are from my previously posted CarPro Reload review.

Thanks for sharing tw33k! You're making me want to try BFWD sealant!

Bill, that's an amazing picture! I think it's poster material! Thanks for sharing.

What LSP did you use on your 2nd post?

Thanks for sharing DaC! That's one of the best beading shots I've seen! Maybe I should give Collinite 845 a shot.

Wow that looks good after 5 months! Wolfgang DGPS really lasts a long time. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks A-train! The beading looks good! WGDGPS is a really good sealant!

Thanks to everybody who shared their beading shots! I hope we can still get this thread going. My goal for this thread is for it to become a reference for people trying to pick a new LSP to purchase. To some, beading characteristics is an important aspect in picking their LSP so this thread will serve as their library.

Thanks! The water made really cool patterns on the paint; I had just polished it out and OG'd it the day before that shot.

I am checking my notes on the Red car, it is either Optimum Poli-Seal or Optimum Opti-coat 2.0.

Edit: Notes checked, that is Opti-Coat 2.0 in my second post with all the beading shots

Water beading 6 months after applying Meg21 topped with Fuzion. DG AW used after each wash.
