With the constant snow and tons of salt on roads I just wanted to rinse the car at a car wash. My only concern is - will the physical pressure of the water remove the 2 coats of wax and sealant?

Thanks,
Howard

If only we were so lucky

You will be fine up to 100 car washes

Just don't use the soap and you'll be fine. I got lazy and gave up on the selfserve HP rinse and just go down the street to the touchless. No way to avoid the soap there and my Coll 845 still lasts through the winter.

I'd be more concerned with not being able to power-wash the road salts that are chemically breaking down the bonds between the LSPs' resins and the vehicle's painted surface...leaving the vehicle more susceptible to the affects caused by corrosion.

Keep in mind:
Anything that touches your vehicle's Waxes, Sealants, etc...
will cause some level of deterioration.

I say:
Give me the water...instead of the road salt.

Agree! Whether it removes some of your LSP or not...better to get the salt and crud off the paint regularly.
