I might need to order a bottle of Spotless or ahem, CG water spot.
I know CG get's alot of talk......but apparently their water spot is pretty effective

Was traveling. Just normal rain water on hood - baked in by the sun
I have some water stains KC FSE is not making a dent in the hood

heck, it's free. I have it at home.
Maybe lay some towels on the hood and let some white vinegar on the towels to dwell for a hr

Granted PPF is porous. Very very porous IMO, even with a LSP on it.
Have tried pouring boiling water to -open its pores a bit- and then trying to get rid of it with FSE.

The Chemical water spot remover is the only one that has worked for me. It's a gel that is best used in small sections at a time in the shade. You also don't want to let it dry on the surface.
