Sending prayers to all of you guys.

I know Scott (Sizzle Chest) is in Naples. Apparently they got slammed hard. :(

I hope all of you guys/gals are safe and sound.
 
Today was the first I even heard about the storm

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in harms way
 
Eek! I didn’t realize Sizzle Chest was that far out there. He’s in worse shape than me

I’m just expecting winds, 16” of rain,and power outages here. I’d be surprised if I can come on much if at all tomorrow. Friday will be when the storm finally lifts and I’m assuming Saturday and Sunday are going to be clean up days. We will be assessing damage too. I have spare roof shingles in the garage ready to go.

Where are you in Florida, Bill?
 
I’m in Palm Coast on the East coast. It’s right in between Daytona Beach and St. Augustine. We’ve been lucky in recent years, just minor stuff but this time it might be a little bit more. It’s nothing like the Tampa area/ West coast though. I’m praying for those people.

Wow, that's funny. A friend of mine from our little town out here on LI just bought a house in Palm Coast in 2019. Small world.

Hope everyone makes it ok. I used to live in Ft Myers and my in-laws live just south of there. I moved there in spring of ‘04. Just in time for Charlie to smash the area. That was a fun introduction to FL weather…

I was VERY FORTUNATE! But thinking about Scott as well, as I know it was real bad in Naples and Fort Myers.

I saw a picture of one of the Naples fire stations and the firehouse was flooded several feet. Hoping Scott is ok and dealing with minimal damage.
 
I was very fortunate too. I have no home internet service but was able to see the troubling images of SW FL on my phone. My prayers are with all of them!
 
My aunt in Florida said her friend came down to this horror show this morning. As if the flooding wasn’t bad enough, I’d think about loading up the car and moving immediately.

Yikes! Yeah, I heard about gators and water moccasins in flood waters but not entering homes. I’m really fortunate where I live but if a storm got severe enough, who knows what critters coming out of nowhere would appear.

I finally got everything around the house back to normal this morning. Now I’m just wondering when the next storm will come…
 
I saw Tampa wasn't hit as hard but anyone heard from Paul A yet?
