Prepsol for tar removal amazing

Can anyone give me reasons why not to use Prepsol ? A shop I do a lot of work for let
Me use some to remove tar and boy does it take tar off in two seconds doesn't seem like it does anything to the finish but who knows anyone ?

Prepsol won't do anything to your paint, that's what it's for. The name comes from "prep" and "solvent", and it's used for prepping paint prior to painting. It's mostly mineral spirits, I believe.
 
I've been looking for a good tar remover. I hate having to use 4 or 5 different applications of tarminator.
