Pressure washer filter?

Looking for something to put inline with my Electric pressure washer just to protect the unit. Not so much for hard water.. That is something I will tackle later. Just something to protect the unit from any debri in the water. Thanks for any advise!

Something like this might work.

It should have a screen of some type on the connector piece for the hose to catch debris. You could pop the o-ring and cut to fit some wire screen (like the screen on home windows) in there and put the o-ring over it.

That is kinda what I was looking at. My only concern is blocking the flow. I picked up a BE inline screen filter that goes on right at the pressur washer to keep the big debri out for now. Might do a better filtration later on.

I have been using one of these for several years. They were the least restrictive filters i could find. it's the glass filter about second or third down the page.

That is very close to what I ordered. I just got mine from BE because they said it can flow up to 8gpm.
