For: $100....

It was a rainy and cold day and I didn't have anything pressing to do, not even a detail. I decided to do a little shopping. I stopped at Harbor Freight, and just looking around I saw this Karcher Pressure washer. I looked at the price tag and it said $119. I knew this wasn't correct and went on to shopping around. I came back to the pressure washer and the manager was standing close by. I asked him if they did indeed stock this item or was this just a display. He said it was for a new one. I asked if the price was correct and he said yes immediately. So, I said I wanted one. That's when he realized that it had a wrong tag on it. He sent someone to get it. I waited and waited for about 20 minutes, still no pressure washer. I saw the manager again and asked what the progress was on getting the pressure washer for me. He said then that was mismarked and could not sell it for that price. I said wrong!!! It's priced that way and you have to sell it for the price marked. He reluctantly agreed, went and pulled the item from the stock room and took it to the checkouts. He told the cahier to use the tag he brought up with him. Even better, to my suprize, when the cashier put the item in the computer, it came up for $100. I bought the extended warranty for 2 years for only $20. Then I was on my way home with a new pressure washer.
This is listed on the internet from $325 to $512 + freight!
What a lucky deal. I was just at the right place at the right time!
Here's a better pic of it.

Clean looking unit. That looks like a very long hose that comes with it. Do you know what HF was asking after they caught their mistake? May still be a good deal. Oh, and what's the pressure rating? Thanks.

5.5 HP Honda engine, 2500 PSI, 2.4 GPM.
Don't know their regular price. Couldn't find it on their website.

was it damaged from falling off the truck J/K ;)

You gotta nice deal

I've heard that's a reallllyyy nice PW. I have the 1400 PSI electric model and no complaints yet.

Have you tried it yet? If so, how loud is it?

What a $100...wow I've been looking for some and the cheapest I found was for about $299 and it wasent even a Honda...great grab buddy...let us know how it works out.

Nice. Im planning on getting the Briggs & Stratton 2200psi washer.

I want to get one of these. It looks like it is nice and small. I really trust briggs because my family has had the same lawn mower for 15 years! It is still running strong, but last summer we got a new one...:D because I wanted more power!

Nica: did you look from them over the summer? I know they had some a gas one with a briggs engine 2400 PSI for about $199 at Canadian Tire. I remember because I used to work there in auto parts and they were on clearance. They were heavy suckers though. I think they were a tad under 100lb.

enjoy, and use it in good health. it always makes it all the better when you get a deal!!!
see, nica is jealous!
j/k, nica.
i still luv you too!

No worries Lauren, I know it's all jokes lol..

Sneek, that is the one that I was looking at. I missed the sale, whent back hoping it would go on sale again and nothing. They are very versatile machines. It just so happens that they are great for washing vehicles lol.

I did try a test spot after I put it together. I used the fan spray nozzle and worked a small section of the patio. It worked very well. As far as the noise, I would say that it is moderately loud. But most gasoline engines are.

Mine a excell got it back in 93 I think, been so long. It has a Briggs & Stratton. Just keep the oil change and it will last. Pump and engine!

It a very nice find bro! Karcher makes some good stuff. I would have bought everyone they had for that!

The only thing is, you have to post pics of your work now!!!!

LOL, the manager is probably still yelling at someone for that. Great deal though and way to stand your ground. :awesome: :righton:
